BILLLLLLLLLLLLL! Part 2

We open "Please Post Bills" tomorrow night with an opening reception from 7-10 PM at G1988 (Melrose). We are so excited to debut this tribute to a comedic genius and the sneak peeks seem to be all over the Internet right now, so we figured we'd get in on the action. AND check out this week's Entertainment Weekly for a little blurb, and image, from the show as well!

Venice Vidiots

We are prepping our newest location, Gallery1988 (Venice), and getting closer and closer to our inaugural show, "Multiplayer," opening January 15th.Just to remind you, it will feature 30 artists, all creating limited edition screenprints inspired by classic video games. The show is curated by our friends at OMGPosters, and the work is incredible. Today we give you the 1st preview of work from the show: Todd Slater's "The Overworld," inspired by The Legend of Zelda.

This beautiful print is actually one of a set (that can be purchased separately though) and the other one is just as awesome.

I think this is the perfect show to introduce you to G1988 (Venice) and what we have coming to our new venue in 2011.

See you there?

SMOD GIG

We are so pleased to announce our recent partnership with Kevin Smith and Scott Mosier on creating original and new gig posters for their recent bus tour, going city to city and recording their extremely popular podcast, called SModcast, live in front of an audience. These limited edition posters were first offered to ticket holders and now can be purchased on our website by CLICKING HERE - http://www.nineteeneightyeight.com/la/smodcastlivegigposters.html

And here they are, each limited to 335 copies all together. We have both signed and unsigned (by Kevin and Scott) available (but all from the same numbered edition) -

So if you're a fan of Kevin, SModcast, great design or just gig posters, pick these up at $30 unsigned or $40 signed. Yeah!
