Shipments are already starting to go out for orders from Crazy 4 Cult 5, so be on the lookout. But in the meanwhile wanted to thank Boondock Saints writer/director Troy Duffy and actor David Della Rocco for stopping by the CFC 5 opening reception and checking out their movie in the book.

It's always great when the people who create the movies seen in these art shows stop by and are actually able to be honored in person. Fun stuff.

And our friends over at American McGee's Alice have released a color variant for Kevin Tong's stunning sold-out screenprint he made for the recent G1988 event. Love this colorway. You can CLICK HERE to pre-order this limited edition before it sells out too.

SO MUCH TRAFFIC.

Last night, we had so much traffic coming in once we posted the Crazy 4 Cult artwork, for the first time in our 7 year history, we had our website account suspended. Over the past year, we've been averaging 8 million hits a month, so as we wait for the numbers from last night alone, we can only imagine what happened.

I know a lot of people see stuff like that as an "EPIC FAIL," but in all truth, it's kind of why you open a business in the first place. For people to hear about it and want to see what's going on. We're working with our hosting service to make sure it never happens again, but in the meanwhile, it's back up and running and we've made sure all the prints have the correct inventory listed.

Today (Sunday), we'll be having our book signing for Crazy 4 Cult (Titan) at the Melrose gallery from Noon to around 2:30/3:00. Stop by and hang out, and get your book signed by a ton of artists (many who traveled to LA just to meet you). There will be food trucks.

Introducing Robert Brandenburg...

Our friends at Slashfilm help us introduce an artist we are VERY excited to be working with, Robert Brandenburg. They debut his two Crazy 4 Cult pieces, and give you a sneak peek into his upcoming solo show at G1988 as well. The basics are...Robert finds already existing paintings or photographs at swap meets or garage sales and then puts his own pop culture twist on them. It's pretty incredible.

Leontine all weekend long!

Amidst all the Crazy 4 Cult madness, we have another really important show opening at Gallery1988 Venice. One of our all-time gallery favorites, the lovely Leontine Greenberg, opens her new solo show on Saturday, July 9th!

IT'S A REVEAL!

Last night, we challenged our Facebook page followers to get us to 3,000 "likes" by Monday and it ended up taking less than an hour. The results of this challenge was that we revealed the 5th Crazy 4 Cult poster in the now storied tradition! Past artists who've created poster images for the show are Christopher Lee, Andrew Wilson, Scott C and Mike Mitchell. And this year...



It's ALEX PARDEE! A G1988, and worldwide, favorite, created this awesome poster for Crazy 4 Cult 5 and we'll be selling them starting July 8th at the opening reception, for a new price, cheaper than any poster from the past few years. We will also have a highly limited giclee print of just the skull image, no text.

So honored to have had Alex create this for Crazy 4 Cult, especially the same year as the book release! Needless to say, it's going to be a fun year.
